Photos of Whitley Bay Seafront and Beach.
Whitley Bay used to be a thriving and very busy holiday resort but times have changed and many of the past attractions are gone.
The beach is still superb though and is used regularly in the summer by families and by dog walkers all year round. Dogs are restricted to the northern end of the beach.
There are three sections of promenade and although they are not named as such, we have split them into north, central and south for the purpose of showing photos on this website.
