Whitley Bay Beach.
These photos were taken along the beach at Whitley Bay. It's map name is Whitley Sands and is a large beach that stretches from the main promenade almost as far as St. Mary's Island.
In years gone by this beach would have been jam packed with holiday makers in summer. These days it is still a fine beach used by families in summer and is very popular with dog walkers who use the north end of the beach where dogs are allowed.
